How to Use the “You’re the Balm” Handouts

Purpose:
Show appreciation to teachers and staff in a fun, thoughtful way—while also spreading the word about Parents Lead!

What You’ll Need:

  • Lip balm or chapstick (bonus points for using one with the Parents Lead logo!)
  • Printed “You’re the Balm” handouts
  • Tape, glue dots, or ribbon (for attaching the balm)
  • Optional: small gift bags or tissue paper for presentation

Steps:

  1. Print the handouts on cardstock or regular paper.
  2. Attach the chapstick to the center of the handout using tape, glue dots, or ribbon.
    (Tip: Place the balm horizontally to align with the message!)
  3. Hand out to teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week, staff meetings, or school events.
  4. Encourage teachers to check out ParentsLead.org for more free resources and classroom tools.
