Purpose:
Show appreciation to teachers and staff in a fun, thoughtful way—while also spreading the word about Parents Lead!What You’ll Need:
- Lip balm or chapstick (bonus points for using one with the Parents Lead logo!)
- Printed “You’re the Balm” handouts
- Tape, glue dots, or ribbon (for attaching the balm)
- Optional: small gift bags or tissue paper for presentation
Steps:
- Print the handouts on cardstock or regular paper.
- Attach the chapstick to the center of the handout using tape, glue dots, or ribbon.
(Tip: Place the balm horizontally to align with the message!) - Hand out to teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week, staff meetings, or school events.
- Encourage teachers to check out ParentsLead.org for more free resources and classroom tools.
